Objective:To observe the curative effect of acupoint application combined with Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction on diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Methods:Eighty cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction,and the study group was treated with acupoint application.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The sensory nerve conduction velocity and motor nerve conduction velocity of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome score of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The clinical symptom(TCSS)score of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint application of classical prescriptions combined with Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction is effective in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
