Objective:To observe the curative effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with scalp acupuncture in the treatment of hemiplegia after ischemic stroke.Methods:Eighty-two cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with scalp acupuncture,and the study group were treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The functional walking ability scale(FAC)score,Berg balance scale(BBS)score,10-meter maximum walking speed(10 MWS),daily activity ability scale(BI)and limb motor function scale(FMA)score,step length,step speed and step width were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Buyang Huanwu Decoction combined with scalp acupuncture is effective and safe in the treatment of hemiplegia after ischemic stroke.
