Objective:To observe the clinical effect of moxibustion combined with Shao's manipulation in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods:Eighty-six cases were randomly divided into two groups,with 43 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with Shao's manipulation,and the observation group were treated with moxibustion in addition.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes,VAS and ODI in the two groups decreased and those in the observation group were lower(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CRP,IL-2 and IL-6 in the two groups decreased and those in the observation group were lower(P<0.05).Conclusion:Moxibustion combined with Shao's manipulation is effective in the treatment of LDH.
