Objective:To observe the clinical effect of small needle knife combined with medicinal cupping therapy in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods:Eighty-two cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with small needle knife,and the study group were treated with medicinal cupping therapy.Results:The superior rate and lumbar function(JOA)score of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of TCM syndrome,pain index(VAS)and Oswestry dysfunction index(ODI)and the incidence of adverse reactions were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The longitudinal axis value of epidural indentation in the study group was smaller than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of small needle knife and drug cupping is better in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
