Objective:To observe the effect of modified Taohong Siwu Decoction in the treatment of irregular menstruation with Qi deficiency and blood stagnation.Methods:A total of 100 cases were divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group were treated with conventional western medicine while the study group were treated with modified Taohong Siwu Decoction.Results:The total effective rate and the levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and luteinizing hormone(LH)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of TCM syndromes in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The improvement of clinical symptoms in the study group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Taohong Siwu Decoction is effective in the treatment of irregular menstruation with Qi deficiency and blood stagnation.
