Objective:To observe the efficacy of oral and external application of Decoction for Eliminating Dampness and Resolving Blood Stasis in the treatment of chronic prostatitis with damp-heat and blood stasis syndrome.Methods:A total of 108 cases were randomly divided into the combined treatment group,the simple Chinese medicine group and the proprietary medicine control group,36 cases in each group.The combined treatment group were treated with Decoction for Eliminating Dampness and Resolving Blood Stasis with fumigation and oral administration.The simple Chinese medicine group were treated with Decoction for Eliminating Dampness and Resolving Blood Stasis oral administration,while the proprietary medicine control group were treated with Qianlie Shutong Capsule.Results:The total effective rate was 91.67%(33/36)in the combined treatment group,69.44%(25/36)in the simple Chinese medicine group,and 72.22%(26/36)in the control group.The difference among the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of the three groups were decreased(P<0.05),and the scores of the combined treatment group were lower(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the simple Chinese medicine group and the drug control group(P>0.05).The maximum urinary flow rate and average urinary flow rate of the three groups increased,and the combined treatment group increased more than the simple Chinese medicine group and the proprietary medicine control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Oral administration combined with fumigation of Chinese herbs is effective in the treatment of chronic prostatitis with damp-heat and blood stasis syndrome.
