Objective:To observe the efficacy of Huoxue Huayu Xingnao Decoction combined with acupuncture as an adjuvant therapy for post-stroke cognitive impairment(PSCI).Methods:Eighty-two patients were randomly divided into a trial group(44 patients)and a control group(38 patients).Both groups received conventional Western medicine treatment,and the trial group additionally received Huoxue Huayu Xingnao Decoction combined with acupuncture therapy.Results:The total effective rate in the trial group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The TCM syndrome score in the trial group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The LOTCA and ADL scores in the trial group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Huoxue Huayu Xingnao Decoction combined with acupuncture as an adjuvant therapy could improve the therapeutic effect on PSCI,with good safety.
