Objective:To observe the curative effect of Dachaihu Decoction and Guizhi Fuling Pills in the treatment of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)with syndrome of blood stasis and water retention.Methods:A total of 102 cases were randomly divided into two groups,with 51 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with western medicine,and the observation group were treated with Dachaihu Decoction combined with Guizhi Fuling Pills in addition.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the TCM syndrome score and PaCO2 level in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the levels of FVC,PEF,FEV1%,PaO2 and SaO2 were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Dachaihu Decoction combined with Guizhi Fuling Pills is effective in the treatment of AECOPD.
