Objective:To observe the effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of acute appendicitis(AA).Methods:Forty-eight cases were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table,with 24 cases in each group.The control group were treated with western medicine while the observation group were treated with integrated Chinese and western medicine.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The recovery time was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).The complications were less than those of the control group(P<0.05).The inflammatory indexes(CRP,WBC,NP)were lower than those of the control group,and the T lymphocytes(CD4+/CD8+,CD8+,CD4+)were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of AA could improve the curative effect and reduce complications.
