Objective:To observe the curative effect of Minor Life-Prolonging Decoction in the treatment of post-stroke depression(PSD).Methods:A total of 120 cases were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 60 cases in each group.Both groups were given routine treatment including stabilizing blood pressure,cerebrovascular drugs,neurotrophic drugs,physiotherapy and rehabilitation therapy.The treatment group were treated with Minor Life-Prolonging Decoction Granules in addition while the control group were treated with Fluoxetine Hydrochloride Capsules in addition.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.Results:After treatment,the levels of plasma NE,5-HT and DA in the two groups were increased(P<0.05).The scores of HAMD and NIHSS in the two groups were decreased(P<0.05),and the ADL scores were increased(P<0.05).The changes in the treatment group were greater than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Minor Life-Prolonging Decoction could improve the curative effect in the treatment of post-stroke depression,with safety.
