Study on Symptom/Signs Group of Spleen and Stomach Damp-heat Syndrome of Chro-nic Gastritis by complex network
Objective Based on the complex network theory,this paper explores the closely related symptom/sign group charac-teristics in the complex network of spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome in chronic gastritis,in order to provide new ideas and methods for the objective study of chronic gastritis syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods The degree,between cen-trality,closeness centrality and"k-core analytic hierarchy process"were integrated to find the closely related symptom/sign group in the complex network of spleen and stomach damp-heat syndrome of chronic gastritis,and the internal structure of the community was deeply explored.Results The 4 symptom/sign groups with the highest correlation were found.Community 0 in-cluded tongue coating on the root of the tongue,covering the whole tongue,thin tongue and yellow complexion;Community 1 in-cludes noise,red tongue,red lips,right hand pulse string,red face;Community 2 includes hot hands and feet,thin fur,and sour mouth;Community 3 includes fat tongue,heavy breath,yellow and white fur,and the factors of disease location involve spleen,stomach,liver and kidney.Conclusion The characteristics of the four most correlated symptom/sign groups found by comprehensive use of complex network data analysis method are basically consistent with the theory of traditional Chinese medi-cine,and some results are different from the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,which may be related to the concurrent,dy-namic and complex clinical syndroms.
