Identification of Chrysanthemum Varieties and Rapid Determination of Three Quality Markers Based on Near-Infrared Spectroscopy
Objective To establish a method for the rapid identification of different varieties of Chrysanthemum and the rapid de-termination of three quality markers. Methods The quantitative analysis models for chlorogenic acid, luteolin and 3,5-O-di-caffeoylquinic acid in Chrysanthemum were established by partial least squares(PLS),and the qualitative analysis model for the identification of Chrysanthemum varieties was established by orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis(O2PLS-DA).Results The constructed quantitative analysis model predicted the three quality markers in the calibration set with correla-tion coefficients(R)of 0.9215,0.9404 and 0.9795,root mean square error of calibration(RMSEC)of 0.0880%,0.0522%and 0.1150%,and relative standard error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.0911%,0.0452%and 0.1760%,respectively.Statisti-cal analysis showed no significant difference between the predicted values of the quantitative analysis models for the validation set and the reference values. The O2PLS-DA model can quickly distinguish different varieties of Chrysanthemum. Conclusion Near-infrared spectroscopy combined with chemometrics can achieve the rapid determination of three quality markers in Chrysanthe-mum and the rapid identification of different varieties of Chrysanthemum.
