Effect of Chui Huang Qing Pulse Drink on Platelet Activation in a Restenosis Rabbit Model
Objective To observe the effect of Chui Huang Qing Pulse Drink on platelet activation in restenosis and explore its mechanism of treating restenosis.Methods Seventy New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into the blank group,mod-el group,atorvastatin group,low,medium,and high concentrations of Chui Huang Qing Pulse Drink groups,and Chui Huang Qing Pulse Drink combined with atorvastatin group.After 9 weeks of modeling,corresponding drugs were orally administered to the corresponding groups of rabbits.Blood samples were collected from the ear vein in the first,second,third,and fourth week,and the levels of thromboxane B2(TXB2)and 6-keto-prostaglandin F1α(6-Keto-PGF1α)in the serum were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The modeling effect and therapeutic changes were observed by veterinary ultra-sound and HE staining.Results Compared with the blank group,the serum TXB2 level in the model group was significantly in-creased(P<0.01),while 6-Keto-PGF1α level was significantly decreased(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,with the change of oral administration time,TXB2 gradually decreased and 6-Keto-PGF1a gradually increased in each treat-ment group.The high concentration of Chui Huang Qing Pulse Drink group and Chui Huang Qing Pulse Drink combined with ator-vastatin group showed significant changes(P<0.001).Compared with the atorvastatin group,there were differences in the tradi-tional Chinese medicine group and the traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine group with the change of time(P<0.05),and the longer the oral administration time,the higher the concentration of traditional Chinese medicine and the greater the effect on serum TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGF1α(P<0.01).Conclusion Chui Huang Qing Pulse Drink has an inhibito-ry effect on platelet activation in rabbit restenosis,and it has a synergistic effect when combined with atorvastatin.This may be re-lated to the regulation of platelet aggregation-related factors TXB2 and 6-Keto-PGF1α,and the effect is dependent on time and concentration.
