Observation on the short-term and long-term clinical efficacy of the method of leveling and returning to the source in treating chronic atrophic gastritis
Objective To observe the short-term and long-term therapeutic effects of the Spleen and Stomach Peiyuan Formula in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis,which is based on the principle of"leveling and returning to the source".Methods Collect CAG patients who were treated at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to January 2022.Among them,100 cases were treated with Spleen and Stomach Peiyuan Formula,and the other 100 cases were treated with conventional Western medicine.Observe the scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms before and after 12 weeks of treatment in two groups of patients,as well as thescores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,gastros-copy pathology,and pathological efficacy after 24 weeks.Results Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom Score:After 12 and 24 weeks of treatment,the TCM symptom scores of both groups decreased significantly,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P＜0.05);Gastroscopy pathology:After 24 weeks of treatment,the scores of both groups improved significantly compared to before,and the treatment group had better results(P＜0.05);Clini-cal efficacy:The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).There were no adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion Based on the rule of"Tiaoping Guiyuan method",Spleen and Stomach Peiyuan For-mula can improve symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine in CAG patients,relieve the pathological manifestations,such as atro-phy and intestinal metaplasia and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
