Spectral Analysis of the Interaction between Ginsenosides Rb3 and Bovine Serum Albu-min
Objective To study the interaction between ginsenoside Rb3(GSRb3)with bovine serum albumin(BSA)at the mo-lecular level.Methods Under simulated physiological conditions,the interaction mechanism,main force types and thermodynam-ic parameters of GSRb3 and BSA were determined by fluorescence,absorption and Raman spectroscopy.Results GSRb3 induced fluorescence quenching of BSA by a mixed quenching.The results of thermodynamic analysis indicated that van der Waals force and hydrogen bonding were the main forces of the complex.Raman spectroscopy results indicated that GSRb3 binds to tryptophan residues of BSA.Conclusion GSRb3 interacts with BSA to form a complex.This work provides a theoretical basis for further un-derstanding of the interaction between GSRb3 and biomolecules.
