Exploration on the pathogenesis of depression secondary to osteoporosis in traditional Chinese medicine from the theory of"one Qi circulating"
Nowadays, there is a growing prevalence of comorbid osteoporosis and depression, highlighting the increasingly prominent relationship between these two conditions. With the advancement of scientific research and an expanding number of ca-ses,low bone mineral density may emerge as a potential risk factor for depression. In this study,we delve into the genetic compo-nents of fu-organs within Huang Yuan Yu's theory on"One Qi circulating flow"from a theoretical perspective. We explore how diseases related to"one Qi"impact the dynamic changes in the spleen and stomach's lifting hub as well as the liver and gallblad-der's Qi machine over time, ultimately leading to osteoporosis and depression.Furthermore, some clinical practitioners have con-sciously or unconsciously adhered to the theory of one-Qi circulation with positive therapeutic outcomes. Therefore,we recom-mend the flexible application of the one-Qi circulation theory in clinical practice to solve the problems of chronic pain and de-pression in osteoporosis patients.
