The spirit of Chinese aesthetic education is the essence extracted from the excellent tradi-tional Chinese culture.It takes the realization of human perfection as the highest goal,emphasizes the combination of ethics and practice,and achieves the realm of life with the integration of knowledge and action.Art education is the core content and approach to the implementation of aesthetic education,as well as an important part of college education.While emphasizing theoretical learning and mastering skills,it also promotes the spiritual realm of combining peoples noble morality and behavior cultivation through the cultivation of people's emotions,and perfuses the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education into art educa-tion,which can not only help inherit the essence of Chinese excellent traditional culture.At the same time,it can also improve the spiritual quality of college students and realize the unity of knowledge and practice,and the Chinese spiritual quality that is consistent inside and outside.Based on the innovation and development of art education in colleges and universities,and on the premise of discussing the internal re-lationship between the Chinese aesthetic education spirit and art education,this paper analyzes the current situation of the inheritance of the Chinese aesthetic education spirit by art education in colleges and uni-versities,points out the indispensability of the Chinese aesthetic education spirit in the realization of art ed-ucation in colleges and universities,and proposes the improvement path for inheriting the Chinese aesthetic education spirit in art education.It is expected to have a positive impact on social spiritual civilization and cultural environment while inheriting the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education and improving art education in colleges and universities.
