Factors Influencing Daily Information Behavior of the Elderly in the Digital Society
The study focuses on the daily information behavior of the elderly in the digital society,with a view to reducing the obstacles faced by the elderly in the digital society and enhancing their survivability in the digital society by caring for their digital lives.The study takes the elderly group as the interview object,uses semi-structured interviews to collect the data corpus,and uses grounded theory to analyze the textualized interview data of 16 interviewees.The results show that the daily information behavior of the elderly group is influenced by personal needs,information access media,social digital feedback,family digital feedback,digital literacy,and artificial intelligence assistance.A framework for analyzing the daily information behavior of the elderly group in the digital society is constructed,and based on the framework,targeted solutions are proposed to improve the daily information behavior of the elderly group in the digital society.
