Meta Analysis of the Eeffect of Intramedullary Nail and External Fixation in the Treatment of Tibia and Fibula Fractures
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of intramedullary nail and external fixation with systematic evaluation on the clinical treatment of tibiofibula fracture. Methods The last retrieval time was limited to December 2017. The relevant literatures which met the requirements and characteristics of this study were selected to evaluate the quality of intervention. The data were analyzed by Meta using Stata 13.0 software. Results The effect of intervention was evaluated by ohner-Wruh standard. The healing of orthopedics in interlocking intramedullary nail intervention group and external fixation intervention group was excellent. The comparison of yield (OR=2.22, 95%CI=1.47-3.32, P=0.000), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The time of fracture healing, the incidence of nonunion, the incidence of postoperative infection and the incidence of delayed bone healing were not statistically significant between the two groups. Conclusion Interlocking intramedullary nailing is superior to external fixation in the treatment of tibial and fibular fracture.
