With the continuous growth of internet traffic,the demand for high bandwidth networks is also increasing,and the development and promotion of higher capacity DWDM technology has become a trend.Currently,the 400 Gbps DWDM technology has been tested and deployed in laboratories and some small-scale commercial environments.With the continuous maturity of 400 Gbps key technologies,cost controllability,and increasing support from upstream and downstream of the supply chain,400 Gbps DWDM technology has the feasibility of large-scale commercial use at this stage.The article demonstrates the large-scale commercial use of 400 Gbps DWDM technology from three aspects:key technology demonstration,introduction of key components,and evolution path.
