Hybrid machine translation is a combined approach that integrates multiple machine translation methods to improve translation quality and efficiency.The article introduces the basic concepts and classifications of hybrid machine translation,including rule-based,statistical and neural network hybrid methods.The advantages and challenges of hybrid machine translation are analysed,and finally the current applications and future directions of hybrid machine translation are summarised and some possible solutions are proposed.
