Reversible Information Hiding of Grayscale Halftone Images in Encrypted Domain
The article proposes a reversible information hiding algorithm for halftone images.Considering the disadvantage of low information redundancy in halftone images, the pixels of the carrier image are copied into two identical images before embedding the watermark, artificially increasing redundancy.By using checksum encoding to change the pixels in the image, the watermark is embedded into the first carrier image;By bit substitution, the watermark is embedded into the second carrier image to obtain two hidden images. In the extraction stage, the watermark information is first obtained by processing the first hidden image using the Hamming code's verification matrix, and then bit swapped with the pixels in the second hidden image to restore the carrier image. This scheme is suitable for data hiding applications where reversibility is crucial, such as in the field of printing and printing.
