互联网信息技术迅猛发展,传统的光电转换技术一定程度上已无法满足现代电信传输的要求.掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)在泵浦光的作用下可以直接放大光信号,适用于现代光纤通信.该文分析了EDFA的基本原理,探究了EDFA技术的应用及发展趋势.
Principle Analysis and Application Exploration of EDFA
With the rapid development of Internet information technology,the traditional photoelectric conversion technology has to some extent been unable to meet the requirements of modern telecommunications transmission.Erbium doped fiber amplifiers(EDFAs)can directly amplify optical signals under the action of pump light,making them suitable for modern fiber optic communication.This article analyzes the basic principles of EDFA and explores the application and development trends of EDFA technology.
