Research and Application of Broad Coverage for 5G and LTE Network at 800 MHz Based on HDSS
The 800 MHz frequency band in 5G is an essential choice for extensive coverage. However, due to a scarcity of 800 MHz frequency resources, the conventional approach of complete infrastructure renewal proves inadequate,as it fails to meet current network requirements and demands substantial resource investment. The technology of dynamic spectrum sharing can leverage existing 4G networks for the rapid deployment of 5G,enabling the coexistence of both 4G and 5G networks and facilitating dynamic construction and evolution. This paper scrutinizes and validates critical technical aspects, including shared resource scheduling, interference mitigation, and power configuration, through the 15 MHz HDSS dynamic spectrum sharing scheme(comprising 15 MHz NR with 10 MHz LTE)within the HDSS technology framework.Furthermore,it conducts network testing on various networking models under the HDSS framework, offering practical configuration recommendations. These findings hold valuable insights for the realization of environmentally friendly shared frequency resources, fostering collaborative integration between 4G and 5G networks, and facilitating broad coverage for 5G networkse.
