Application of PBR method in Digital Model of Intangible Cultural Heritage Shell Carving Process
The article creates high-quality digital models to replicate shell carving crafts and uses digital strategies to protect the cultural heritage of Beihai shell carvings,which is of great significance to the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.By analyzing the structure of the material's micro-surface,the article uses a generation function and arrangement method based on a mathematical model to generate micro-surface primitives for use in synthesizing material normal maps.This method effectively reduces the labor cost of digitizing shell carving handicrafts.Combining digital technology with traditional Beihai shell carving production techniques will help expand the cultural dissemination of Beihai shell carving techniques and increase the commercial value of Beihai shell carving handicrafts.
