With the rapid development and widespread application of AI technology,this article analyzes the necessity of offering AI general education courses in vocational colleges,and proposes some basic concepts for the construction of AI general education courses in vocational colleges.The hierarchical and phased organization method is integrated into the course goal setting,course content selection,course ideological and political integration,and course implementation process.It advocates from cultivating AI literacy to stimulating professional innovation and creation awareness,from cultivating patriotism to shaping innovation and creation awareness,gradually improving the quality and ability of vocational college students,and providing reference for the opening of AI general education courses in vocational colleges.
