Clinical Observation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupoint Application Combined with Acupuncture in Preventing Thrombosis after Deep Vein Catheterization
Objective To study the effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)acupoint application combined with acupuncture in preventing thrombosis after deep vein catheterization. Methods A total of 60 patients who underwent deep vein catheterization at Nanning Second People's Hospital from July 2022 to June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 30 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine nursing care after catheterization, while patients in the observation group were additionally treated with TCM acupoint application combined with acupuncture.Coagulation function, pain level, incidence of limb swelling, and deep vein ultrasound results were compared between the two groups. Results On the 7th day after catheterization, the prothrombin time(PT)and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)levels in the observation group were significantly longer than those in the control group, and the D-dimer level was lower, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The pain level in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group on the 7th day after catheterization(P<0.05).The incidence of limb swelling in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group on the 7th day after catheterization(P<0.05).The incidence of deep vein thrombosis in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group on the 7th day after catheterization(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of TCM acupoint application combined with acupuncture after deep vein catheterization can improve patients'coagulation function, reduce limb swelling and pain level, and effectively prevent the occurrence of deep vein thrombosis.
