Investigation and Analysis of Pain Knowledge Literacy Among Pharmaceutical Interns
Objective To explore the level of pain knowledge literacy among pharmaceutical interns. Methods A total of 130 pharmaceutical interns who rotated from September 2021 to September 2022 at Zhengzhou People's Hospital were selected as the survey subjects, and the 2014 version of the pain management knowledge and attitude survey questionnaire(KASRP)was used to investigate and analyze their level of pain knowledge literacy. Results 60.77%of interns did not receive pain related knowledge learning at school. The average correct answer rate of KASRP questionnaire was(44.68±8.40)%.Whether one has obtained a pharmacist/licensed pharmacist certificate, their profession, and knowledge of pain obtained from academic journals had an impact on the correct answer rate of the questionnaire. The correct answer rate of undergraduate interns in the questionnaire[(49.69±8.48)%]was higher than that of graduate students[(43.71±8.07)%].The correct answer rate of interns who received one or several chapters of pain courses was significantly higher than that of non recipients, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The level of pain knowledge literacy among pharmaceutical interns at Zhengzhou People's Hospital is relatively low,and the education of pain specialty courses, their self-learning ability, and clinical practice of pain are factors that affect the pain knowledge literacy level of pharmaceutical interns.
