Clinical Efficacy of Acupuncture at "Siguan" Points Combined with Ultrashort Wave Therapy for Abdominal Distension after Abdominal Surgery
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of acupuncture at"Siguan"points combined with ultrashort wave therapy for patients with abdominal distension after abdominal surgery.Methods A total of 100 patients with abdominal distension after abdominal surgery from June 2021 to October 2023 at The People's Hospital of Xiangtan County were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 50 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine postoperative care,while the observation group was treated with acupuncture at"Siguan"points combined with ultrashort wave therapy on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,recovery of autonomous functional indicators,nursing satisfaction,and occurrence of adverse concomitant symptoms were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 92.00%,which was higher than 72.00%of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The recovery time of bowel sounds,first exhaust time,first defecation time,and first eating time in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was 96.00%,which was higher than 76.00%of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in safety between the two groups during the intervention(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of acupuncture at"Siguan"points combined with ultrashort wave therapy can significantly assist in improving the clinical efficacy of patients,enhance the overall satisfaction of patients with nursing care,promote good improvement of postoperative clinical symptoms,and has good safety.
