Effect of Coronary Artery Stent on Cardiac Function in Patients with Ischemic Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure
Objective To analyze the effect of coronary artery stent on cardiac function in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy(ICM)and heart failure(HF).Methods A total of 88 ICMHF patients admitted to the Shangqiu First People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 44 patients in each group. The control group received conventional drug treatment, and the observation group received coronary artery stent after 2 weeks of conventional drug treatment. The clinical efficacy,New York heart association(NYHA)classification,X-ray cardiothoracic ratio, cardiac function index, exercise endurance and adverse cardiovascular events were compared between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).NYHA classification in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=2.530,P=0.011).After treatment, the X-ray cardiothoracic ratio of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, left ventricular ejection fractions(LVEF)and 6-minute walking distance(6MWD)were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of ICM HF patients with coronary artery stenting can improve cardiac function, enhance therapeutic effect and exercise endurance, and reduce the occurrence of adverse cardiovascular events.
