Analysis of the Application Value of Experiential Teaching in the Training of Neurosurgical Nursing Students'Protective Restraint Skills
Objective To evaluate the value of experiential teaching in the training of protective restraint skills of neurosurgical nursing students,and to explore a high-quality teaching mode.Methods 120 nursing students received by the Department of Neurosurgery of Mindong Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from September 2022 to February 2024 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,60 cases in each group.The nursing students in the control group adopted the traditional mode of teaching,and the nursing students in the observation group adopted the experiential teaching.The teaching satisfaction,protective restraint performance,course effect,humanistic care ability and critical thinking ability of the nursing students in each group were analyzed.Results The teaching satisfaction of nursing students in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The protective constraint scores of nursing students in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The curriculum evaluation questionnaire(CVI)scores of nursing students in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of the Chinese version of the humanistic care ability scale(CAI)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of the Chinese version of the critical thinking disposition scale(CTDI-CV)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of experiential teaching in the training of protective restraint skills of neurosurgical nursing students has significant value.It can improve the humanistic care ability of nursing students with protective restraint ability,and also improve the critical thinking ability of nursing students and the satisfaction of teaching work.The teaching effect is better in line with quality education and departmental job requirements.It is a high-quality teaching model.
