Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of full-field digital mammography in the early detection of breast cancer. Methods A total of 80 patients with suspected breast cancer who underwent examinations at the Sanming First Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University, from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected. All patients underwent color Doppler ultrasound and full-field digital mammography. The results were compared with the final clinical diagnosis to calculate and compare the diagnostic efficacy of the two methods. Results Among the 80 patients with suspected breast cancer,62 were clinically confirmed. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of full-field digital mammography for early breast cancer detection were higher than those of color Doppler ultrasound, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences between the detection numbers of full-field digital mammography for in situ carcinoma, mucinous adenocarcinoma, invasive ductal carcinoma, and simple breast cancer, and the clinical diagnosis results(P>0.05).Conclusion Full-field digital mammography demonstrates high diagnostic efficacy in the early detection of breast cancer, providing reliable references for subsequent patient condition diagnosis and treatment planning.
