Research Progress on the Association between Stroke and Sarcopenia in the Elderly in the Community
Stroke and sarcopenia(SP)are two common geriatric diseases,which have attracted much attention in recent years,and understanding the correlation between stroke and SP in the elderly in the community is of great significance for promoting healthy aging and improving the quality of care.The purpose of this study was to review the association between the two in order to increase the understanding of stroke and SP in the elderly in the community,and to provide a basis for the prevention and improvement of SP in stroke patients and the subsequent rehabilitation care of stroke-related SP patients.
