The Impact of Liu Zi Jue Dual-task Training on Cognitive Function and Daily Living Ability in Patients with Cerebral Infarction
Objective To investigate the effects of Liu Zi Jue dual-task training on cognitive function and daily living ability in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods Seventy-eight patients with cognitive dysfunction due to cerebral infarction admitted to Foshan Fosun Chancheng Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group, with 39 cases in each group, based on the differences in treatment protocols. The control group received conventional rehabilitation training, while the observation group received Liu Zi Jue dual-task training in addition to conventional rehabilitation training. The clinical indicators were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the observation group showed higher scores in activities of daily living(ADL),Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA),Berg balance scale(BBS),mini-mental state examination(MMSE),Wechsler memory scale(WMS),and Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MOCA)compared to the control group, and lower National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)scores, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Additionally,the observation group had a faster walking speed and greater grip strength in the affected hand than the control group, and lower step width and step length deviation, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Liu Zi Jue dual-task training can further improve the cognitive function and neurological function of patients with cerebral infarction, enhancing their ability to live independently.
