The Introduction of Intellectual Resources and Co-governance:Reflection on the Construction of Think Tanks in Higher Vocational Colleges from the Perspective of Chinese Modernization Mode
The construction of think tanks in higher vocational colleges is an important means to promote the modernization of China"s vocational education,and it undertakes the mission of the introduction of intellectual resources that includes"highlighting the orientation of vocational education types,cultivating high-end application-oriented talents;strengthening the function of serving society and helping the high-quality development of local economy and society;accurately grasping the characteristics of running schools,and matching the differentiated development needs of vocational colleges".At the present stage,the construction of think tanks in higher vocational colleges is faced with four realistic challenges:unclear functional positioning,inherent deficiencies in intellectual achievements,urgent need for reform in operating mechanisms,and the lack of a targeted evaluation system.Accordingly,it is proposed to accurately grasp the functional positioning and make the"educating people+serving society"functions work in parallel;strengthen the intellectual support of think tanks in higher vocational colleges to cultivate the key driving force for the development of think tanks;innovate the operation mechanism of think tanks in higher vocational colleges to release the operation vitality of think tanks;build an evaluation system for think tanks in vocational colleges with Chinese characteristics and identify the development direction of think tanks.
