摘要
周策纵以自身所具备的主客观条件，在丰富史料的基础上，对“五四运动”的叙述采取了一种公正的立场，在阐释中注重“五四运动”的思想革新方面，重视知识分子的领导作用，以达到“临文不讳、秉笔直书”的史学标准。但是这种立场又带有明显的对于意识形态规避的倾向，其中就包括缩减政治因素特别是俄国十月革命对“五四运动”的影响。
Abstract
Zhou Ce-zong possesses his own subjective and objective conditions which are based on rich historical data. He takes a fair narrative stand in The May Fourth Movement. He focuses on the innovative thinking and the intellectual leadership in order to achieve the historical standard of“writing without hiding the truth”. But his position has a clear tendency for ideological aversion, including political factors, in particular, to reduce the effect of Russian October Revolution on the May Fourth Movement.
