The career transformation of Changlu salt commissioner can serve as a partial sample for an-alyzing the migration of senior civil officials in the Qing Dynasty.Through statistical analysis of their ca-reer history,it was found that the career of officials was influenced by their performances in the imperial examination and achievements in political achievements,as well as the support of family politics,culture,and financial resources.The appreciation of their superior was also an important factor in their promotion.The monarch ultimately controlled the fate of feudal officials in their official careers.
