Bamboo Slip Collection in Tsinghua University(Six)comprises five hitherto unseen works from the pre-Qin Dynasty,making it a highly valuable resource for the examination of both the historical and linguistic aspects of this period.By mutually testifying the textual content and the analysis of Shi-ming,it is found that some ancient meanings which are rarely seen in later generations provide documenta-ry evidence for the interpretation of Shiming,and advance the date of the relevant documentary evidence.These insights will assist in elucidating the contextual aspects of the evolution of Chinese lexical seman-tics,offering a valuable point of reference for the revision and enhancement of comprehensive reference materials,and facilitating future exploration of the corpus significance of Shiming.
