英国伦敦有超一百万穆斯林人口,向来被视作多元主义移民模式的典范.随着穆斯林社区不断壮大,穆斯林与非穆斯林间、伊斯兰教派间因差异与共性的失衡引发了英国社会对多元文化背景下穆斯林移民社会融入问题的诸多讨论.坐落于伦敦西南部的恩典清真寺和胜利清真寺的兴建过程融合了宗教、种族、移民和政治等多重因素.这两座清真寺集中反映出在多元文化背景下英国穆斯林社区融入的曲折发展.
Abstract
With over a million Muslims,London has always been seen as a paragon of multicultural im-migrant integration.As the Muslim immigrant community continues to grow,the imbalance between Mus-lims and non-Muslims,as well as between Islamic sects,due to differences and commonalities,has sparked many discussions in British society about the social integration of Muslim immigrants in a multi-cultural context.The construction of the Fazl Mosque and Baitul Futuh Mosque in southwest London was a combination of religious,racial,immigrant and political factors.These mosques thus focus on the tortu-ous development of the integration of the Muslim community in Britain in a Multiculturalism.
