The soil physicochemical properties of four types of vegetation,namely Iris tectorum Max-im,Sedum spectabile,Poa pratensis L.and Duchesnea indica,were determined to comprehensively eval-uate their soil quality.The results showed that there was significant difference in soil water content and there was no significant difference in soil bulk density and soil solid rate among four types of vegetation.The solid phase rate of the soil was generally higher,and the liquid phase rate and gas phase rate were in-sufficient.The soil is alkaline and has no salt toxicity to plants.The activities of soil catalase and soil phosphatase under the vegetation of Poa pratensis L.were significantly higher than those in the other three types of vegetation,and the activities of soil urease and alkaline protease under the vegetation of Se-dum spectabile were significantly higher than those in the other three types of vegetation.The comprehen-sive evaluation of soil quality of different vegetation types by analytic hierarchy showed that the soil quality was better under the vegetation of Sedum spectabile than that under other vegetations.
