An Analysis of Land Use Evolution in the Core Urban Area of Tangshan City Based on GIS
The land use evolution in the core urban area of Tangshan from 2009 to 2020 is studied.It has been shown that in 2009,arable land was mainly concentrated in the northwest,southwest,and the surrounding areas of Nanhu Lake.Although the scale of arable land decreased by 2020,the distribution re-mained roughly unchanged.In 2009,construction land accounted for the highest proportion,which was mainly distributed in the northeast,southeast,and central regions.By 2020,this proportion remained,with its distribution expanding from the center to the northwest.From 2009 to 2020,there was an increas-ing trend in forests,grasslands,water bodies,and urban public green spaces,while industrial and mining land and unused land showed a downward trend,indicating that the regional ecological environment was well developed and the efficiency of land use was improved.
