In recent years,due to various factors such as society,family,and economy,the occupa-tional burnout of primary and secondary school physical education teachers has shown an upward trend,which has affected their work efficiency.The research results indicate that physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools generally suffer from occupational burnout,with a higher proportion of male teachers,and the higher the age and education level,the higher the degree of burnout.Salary,pro-motion opportunities,regulations,leadership support,and social identity are the causes of occupational burnout among primary and secondary school physical education teachers.In the future,attention should be paid to the psychological state of teachers and assistance policies should be introduced;The assessment system should be improved and training and promotion opportunities should be provided;The salary and benefits of teachers should also be raised;Social responsibility should be enhanced and a good educational and value system should be established.
