Contribution of Yuan Huang's Governance Measures in Baodi Country and a Discussion on Yuan Huang's Confucian Governance Concepts
As a famous scholar in the mid to late Ming Dynasty,Yuan Huang not only made great a-chievements in the academic field,but also was a diligent and honest official.Baodi people admired him for his political achievements in governance practicing during the five years as county magistrate.As a member of the Yang-Ming School,Yuan Huang's governance concept was engraved with obvious traces of Confu-cianism,which not only reflected his understanding of the concepts of"self-cultivation"and"benevolent governance",but also contained the theoretical color of Yangming School of Mind,especially the profound interpretation of the"pure-mind"thought of the Luo Rufang school in Yangming School.
