As one of the"living"cultures of intangible cultural heritage,Jidong shadow puppetry faces many challenges,such as a reduction in the soil for survival,a weakening of the infectious power of on-site performances through image dissemination,and limited folk shadow puppetry activities.This should be a-chieved through the digital presentation of the oral history of Jidong shadow puppetry based on folk festival scenes,the digital media display of Jidong shadow puppetry based on regional customs scenes,and the use of digital media to protect people's sense of belonging and communication ceremony towards Jidong shad-ow puppetry under the background of"nostalgia".New digital application scenarios for Jidong shadow puppetry should be reshaped on the media end,and the protection and inheritance of the oral history of Ji-dong shadow puppetry should be strengthened.
