Currently,local normal universities in China are facing a dilemma in their development.As the essence,characteristic,and foundation of schools,teacher education faces difficulties such as insuffi-cient professional linkage,limited academic research,and narrow educational paths;As a way of survival,development,and strengthening the school,comprehensiveness has led to the problems such as scattered development focus,weakened teacher training characteristics,and deviation from the direction of educa-tion.Scientifically grasping the isomorphic construction of teacher education and its comprehensiveness is a practical choice for the high-quality development of higher education in local normal universities:Firstly,we must adhere to the role of teacher education as the supporting pivot for development,focus on develop-ment priorities,maintain the characteristics of teacher education,and firmly establish the direction of edu-cation;Secondly,we must adhere to the path of comprehensive feedback,enhance professional linkage,deepen academic research,and broaden educational ideas.
