Synthesis,Structures and Degradation of Methyl Violet Dye Based of Two Cobalt(Ⅱ)Metal-Organic Frameworks
Two new ternary metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),namely,[Co(BA)(BBP)0.5]n(1)and[Co(HTC)(BBB)]n(2)(BBP=1,3-bis(1-(pyridin-4-ylmethyl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)propane,BBB=1,4-bis(benzimidazol-1-yl)-2-butene,H2 BA=4,4'-oxybis(benzoic acid),H3TC=1,3,5-benzenetricarboxy-lic acid,)were hydrothermally synthesized and characterized.1 features a unique 2D(3,3,4)-connected layer which is further extended into a 3D framework via π-π stacking interactions.2 exhibits a rarely 3D 3,5T21 framework. Two MOFs show high photocatalytic activity toward the degradation of methyl violet(MV)under UV irradiation.
