Regional culture,as an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,is the prod-uct of long-term formation of history and geography.It contains rich ideological and political education re-sources,which plays an important role in the growth of college students.Tangshan,as a city integrating history and modernity,has profound cultural heritage and rich connotation.Through the in-depth combing of Tangshan regional culture,the author excavates the educational value contained in Tangshan regional culture,analyzes the application value of Tangshan regional culture in the ideological and political educa-tion of colleges and universities,explores the effective path of integrating Tangshan regional culture into the ideological and political education of local colleges and universities,and trains students to establish cor-rect life values and subject consciousness.
