Intrinsic Rationale,Unique Value and Future Direction of Rituals in Promoting the Chinese Spirit
As a kind of human creation and practical activity with a long history,rich cultural color and huge audience,rituals are often associated with traditional,feudal,folk or religious groups.Therefore they inevitably carry a certain primitive,strange and even mysterious quality to become the preference of academic research.However,rituals are by no means exclusive to the traditional and pre-modern society.The operation of modern political life is also inseparable from the unique role of rituals.Looking back on the over five thousand years of civilization of Chinese nation,rituals has been consciously or unconsciously used to spread spiritual values,shape collective memories and strengthen social order,forming a close and intertwined relationship with promotion of Chinese spirit.From a historical dimension,rituals is an impor-tant carrier of Chinese spirit.From a theoretical dimension,rituals is a material force for cultivating Chi-nese spirit.From a realistic dimension,rituals is an effective channel for continuing Chinese spirit.Focu-sing on the present,rituals has demonstrated unique functions and advantages in promoting Chinese spirit.Through concertizing the connotation of Chinese spirit,artistically expressing Chinese spirit and standardi-zing the inheritance of Chinese spirit,rituals penetrate deep into people's spiritual world layer by layer,providing strong support and guarantee for boosting national spiritual beliefs.Looking forward to the future,under the call of the mission of comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation through Chinese modernization,it is necessary to promote Chinese spirit through rituals.Firstly,we need to pro-mote the perceptual transformation and expression,situational resonance and identity,normative internali-zation and externalization of Chinese spirit based on the mechanism of action.Secondly,we need to focus on key contradictions and deal with the relationship between the form and content,supply and demand,sa-credness and reality of rituals.Thirdly,we need to strengthen practical exploration and make Chinese spirit"rich""alive"and"famous"by excavating symbol identification,curating ritual situations and using dig-ital media.
