Through the comparative analysis and research of testing methods for penetrating materials such as penetrating ceramic inks and auxiliary colorants,a new method for testing penetrating inks,named ink-dripping method,is proposed in this paper.And the application of this method in the control of product formulation and process in penetrating porcelain tile manufacturing enterprises is also explored.The results show that the combined coloration of different porcelain surface layer materials and different penetrating inks can be achieved by ink-dripping method,and the contrast testing of pene-trating materials can also be achieved.Thus,the optimal proportion combination can be obtained quickly and accurately.
