Ceramic sculpture is a special form of artistic expression,in which artists use ceramic materials flexibly to reflect social life and humanistic spirit in their creations.Ceramic sculpture can not only reflect China's traditional culture,but also present the cultural characteristics of different regions in China.Jingdezhen and Shiwan ceramic sculptures have gradually formed their own charming artistic styles and local characteristics during their long historical development,becoming typi-cal representatives of China's ceramic sculpture art.These works not only inherit and develop traditional culture,but also embody the wisdom and rich creativity of craftsmen from different periods.In this article,comparative analysis is used to analyze and discuss the regional culture,topic selection,and decorative design of Jingdezhen and Shiwan,in order to reveal their similarities and differences.
